yeah! my wish is granted today! :D finally made a trip to the zoo!

woke up early in the morning to make some love sandwiches for my oddball! hahaha.. they looked pretty nice at first.. and i was happy! but later when i was making the egg sandwiches.. i realised i dont know how to cook hard boiled eggs O_O one of my eggs failed and i had to eat it up :x arghs.. in the end i had to boil the other egg for like 3 or 4 times before it's really hard boiled :x then i made a mess out of the egg sandwiches! :( worse still i realised the cheese in my ham and cheese sandwiches started melting like an ice-cream! omg omg. so in the end they looked like this when we ate them in the zoo.



HAHA. but yea they are still edible la!

the stuffs in the zoo are so expensive! one can of coke costs $1.70 hahaha.. anyway they have aircon shelters everywhere so that we can take a rest whenever we're tired of walking.. hehe. took lots of photos of the animals!

in order of appearance:





white tigers! hahaha there is this machine that has 4 buttons so that when we press each of them it'll play different sounds made by the tigers. so there are "roar", "moan", "growl" and one more which i forgot :p and it also tells us when the tigers will make these sounds. hahaha my oddball just knew the first button i'll press is the "moan" button. HAHA! and that sound is made by the tigers when they are ready to mate. rofl.



nonono this is fake. hahaha i wasn't so near the tiger! lol otherwise i think my head will be gone before i take this photo.



this is a bird that looks like an ostrich but it's not :) it's only a little smaller than an ostrich..



a kangeroo! whee~ i got to touch it since it was like so near me! its fur is quite soft :D haha.. feels exactly like those animal skin carpet!



hehe this bird has a head that looks like a dinosaur! hehe and it's really huge! so much bigger than a peacock.



there are monkeys everywhere! this one was so close to us that i think we can just go over and hug it la. it's damn cute coz it has a very furry tail! hahaha my oddball stared into its face from a distance of only 15cm or so! i'll really laugh if the monkey slapped him or something :p







and of course my favourite penguins! :D they're all kept in this room and i wonder if it's really cold in there coz i dont see ice anywhere. so they dont have feathers! hahaha i was observing them closely and i realised they are all covered by fur! hehehe.. and i also found out they dont live with polar bears.. polar bears live in the northern hemisphere while the penguins occupy the south! hee..



WOW. this is the first time i've ever seen such an ENORMOUS crocodile! gosh.. i was totally shocked when i saw it la. it looks like some dinosaur to me! and this one in the photo was not the largest i saw! man.. freakish.





and next is the mandrill! hahaha its face is so colourful. and it has a purple ass!



a leopard that can camouflage among the trees! oh well i still dont know whats the difference between a leopard and a jaguar. hmmm..



lioness! ROARS. there is only one lion among many many lionesses! i wonder why.



opposite the lions are the giraffes! hahaha i never knew giraffes are one of the lions' favourite food in africa :x i bet the lion will be so damn full after eating the giraffe.. lol.



hmm i dont know what is the name of this bird but it looks cool huh?







a camel! my oddball was wondering why it has only one hump instead of two. HAHA i wonder too.



the last animal we saw was the barbary sheep! omg it doesnt look like a sheep to me.. it looks more like a goat! hahaha. and it has a curtain-like neck :p


we saw more animals just that i was lazy to take photos of every single one of them.. haha. and it was a pity we didnt manage to see all the animals in the zoo! my oddball dislikes orang utan so we skipped them :p some animals were hiding from us so we didnt get to see them.. and some of them we missed them coz we took another route and we were lazy to turn back again so we didnt get to see them too.. hahaha. u must be wondering why we didnt take photos of ourselves with the animals! HAHA. coz we were lazy :x lol we're such a lazy couple. we were so shagged after walking the entire zoo and none of us were in the mood to take photos anyway. haha.. a pity!

the bus journey from the zoo to ang mo kio mrt station was quite far.. so my oddball fell asleep soon after we got on the bus O_O worst thing was he fell asleep on my face! :x so i couldnt move at all lest i wake him up.. lol. and it was damn itchy la! coz his botak head was prickling my face.. :p bleah.

anyway! he has got dimples! :D i forced him to gek it out for me while i took a photo.. hehe. i love dimples! unlike me la.. only have pimples.
